Le Comptoir Libanais -  a Marylebone weekend lunch
I love Lebanese food and this place does a decent, well-priced lunch (try the lamb tagine with a mezze starter platter). But to be honest, the two things I love most about Le Comptoir Libanais is the funky decor and their deli corner which stocks my new pantry favourite - goat’s cheese labneh (see photo above). These are goat’s cheese balls marinated in olive oil and thyme and are delicious in salads, on toasted pita, etc. When in doubt what to snack on I reach for these! They are also surprisingly low in calories.
You’ll find them on Wigmore St, in Westfield Shopping Centre, London St. and at the O2.
If you like Lebanese food you may also want to try: Maroush and Yalla Yalla.
