A perfect Sunday lunch - Duck in an Orange Sauce
I may have to rename this the Duck Diaries! Three appearances so far for roasted duck breast since the New Year. I’m not sure why I don’t have this cut of meat more often - really flavoursome and tender, which also stands up brilliantly to strong accompaniments.
My friend who cooked up this Sunday feast, is a big fan of Abel & Cole, the company that delivers a weekly box of organic food to your door (seasonal fruits and vegetables). It’s a great way to learn about what is in season, and helps support local producers. He’s adapted this duck recipe from the Abel & Cole recipe book, which he served with roasted butternut squash and braised cabbage.
